Connector with external tapered thread BSPT and NPT, type VSL with smooth tail and lock. Used for industrial hoses for the transmission of various media, including liquefied gas, petrochemical products, or chemical substances. The most commonly used clamp for mounting the connector on the hose is the shell clamp EN 14420-3 / DIN 2817 (only clamps RS 636… and RS-637…) or a crimping sleeve. Working pressure: 25 bar. Connector material: brass (MS), stainless steel AISI 316 (SS), galvanized steel (ST). Connectors are available with a coating resistant to aggressive chemical substances made of E-CTFE fluoropolymer. Sealing: on the thread (Teflon tape), possibility of flat sealing on the face surface (BSPT). Operating temperature: from -20°C to +65°C according to EN-14420.
